Dedicated SVTS

The dedicated SVTS is the client server version of SVTS for those in need for more secure systems like Army and navy fleets.

SVTS Software
Installed in the Control Center, SVTS software forms the brain of the system, communicating with Vehicle Units, requesting information from them, and process and respond to event-based reports from the Vehicle Units.


Vehicle information is displayed through a Geographical Information System integrated into the SVTS software. The GIS system includes the digital maps of the entire region for which the project is implemented. Paths followed by each vehicle, as well as their current position, can be displayed on the GIS maps.

SVTS software has a client-server architecture and it is database driven. These features enable SVTS to be installed across multiple computers to manage a large number of Vehicle Units.

SVTS Manager Software
SVTS Manager Software has a client-server architecture and thus supports multiple computers and users. To support possible high traffic requirements of large fleets, the SVTS Manager software is capable of working with multiple control center modems. The system is modular and expandable; adding more vehicles to the system is a simple task. The following list summarizes the main features of SVTS Manager:
Capability to remotely set SVTS Vehicle Unit parameters like the data saving and sending period.
Handling event-based reports coming from SVTS Vehicle Unit’s and alerting the System administrator.
Displaying vehicle information on digital maps by plotting the current coordinates or by drawing the routes followed over a specified period.
Enables getting vehicle position by using SMS, Data Link or Thuraya GmPRS.
Enables live tracking of a vehicle with 1 second precision. (Using Data Line or Thuraya GmPRS)
Enables automatically or manually downloading recorded position data from the devices. (Using Data Line or Thuraya GmPRS)
